I know, why would an author tell you to Not buy her books?
Well, long story short, my publisher (Leaf) apparently went bankrupt due to Covid and became a one-man operation.
The problem is that man stopped paying the authors that he published, so any sales I made were not coming to me.
After several months of back and forth, I (think) I have managed to get both my beloved “Rosewater”, and “Kismet” unpublished.
I cannot tell you the heartbreak I felt.
But, through loss, there are new beginnings, and I will be self-publishing these two books in one volume, as well as adding some new material.
I hope to have this out around late Spring this year.
In the meantime, if you purchase either “Rosewater”, or “Kismet”, just know that I won’t see a penny in profits. I hope to write more about this in the future, I do not want another writer to ever go through this.
