Hello, and welcome to my first blog post! I am so happy that you found me here and decided you want to know more about who I am and what I do. I was born in Iraq, raised in the U.S. and Canada, and currently reside in Vienna. I consider myself a citizen of the world.
My educational background is a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature (my love of literature and writing is lifelong), and a Master’s in International Relations. During my graduate studies, I focused heavily on women in my native Iraq, this would eventually propel me to revisit the ancient cultures and matriarchal traditions of the past.
Reconnecting with these roots brought me full circle and helped me to understand the necessity for the Divine or Sacred Feminine in the world.
I truly believe my mission here on Earth is to empower and help heal. As a certified childbirth educator, I have had the pleasure of helping and supporting many beautiful and amazing women through their birthing experience for a number of years. Birth being an intense and primal experience, one can be empowered or have power taken from her. I choose to help boost the former, to prevent the latter. That was truly witnessing the sacred feminine in action.
I am also a Reiki Master healer, and Tarot card reader. I have done much studying and certifying, in various modalities, in order to bring as many skills as possible to those I help. This is my life’s work, and I will do whatever I can to assist all who wish to work with me.
During all this time I have written and published, and well as rediscovered my love of art through abstraction.
